Last Updated: September 4, 2026
Kizera ("Kizera," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. Kizera is operated by Capture and Create, located at Herengracht 336-A, 1016 CE Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you visit kizera.com, place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with our website and services (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce technology that allows us to offer the Services to you.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
1. Personal Information We Collect
When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified. Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:
- Contact details including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Financial information including payment card details, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmations. We never see or store your full card number on our own systems; payments are processed directly by our payment providers.
- Account information including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Transaction information including the items you view, put in your cart, add to your wishlist, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and your past transactions.
- Communications including the information you include when contacting our customer support.
- Device information including your device, browser, network connection, IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.
2. Where We Collect Personal Information From
- Directly from you when you create an account, visit or use the Services, place an order, or communicate with us.
- Automatically through the Services from your device when you visit our website, through cookies and similar technologies.
- From our service providers when we engage them to enable certain technology or when they collect or process personal information on our behalf.
- From our partners or other third parties where permitted by applicable law.
3. How We Use Your Personal Information
Providing and improving the Services. To perform our contract with you: processing payments, fulfilling orders, arranging shipping, facilitating returns and exchanges, managing your account, sending order-related notifications, enabling reviews, remembering your preferences, and creating a customized shopping experience such as recommending products related to your purchases.
Marketing and advertising. To send marketing and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail where you have signed up for them, and to show you online advertisements for products or services, including based on items you previously purchased or added to your cart. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time via the link in each email.
Security and fraud prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. If you register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe; we recommend not sharing your username or password with anyone.
Communicating with you. To provide customer support and maintain our business relationship with you. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
Legal reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our terms and policies.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, or customer service responses.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes, including:
- Shopify, vendors, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment, and shipping.
- Business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you. These partners use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices.
- At your direction when you request or consent to disclosure, such as shipping products to you or using social media widgets or login integrations.
- Within our corporate group where applicable.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with legal obligations, to enforce our terms and policies, and to protect or defend the Services and our rights or those of our users or others.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under certain US state privacy laws; see section 9 for how to opt out.
5. Relationship With Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside.
To help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data obtained from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including responding to requests to exercise your rights over that use. To learn more, visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy, where you can also exercise rights regarding data processed by Shopify.
6. Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their privacy or security practices, or for the accuracy or reliability of information found on them. We encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information. Information you share on public or semi-public venues, including third-party social platforms, may be viewable by other users without limitation.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@kizera.com and we will delete it. As of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
8. Security and Retention of Your Information
We take reasonable measures designed to protect your personal information. Our website uses SSL encryption and payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.
How long we retain your personal information depends on factors such as whether we need it to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce applicable contracts and policies. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights are not absolute and may apply only in certain circumstances; we may decline requests as permitted by law.
- Right to access / know: request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right of portability: receive a copy of your personal information and request that we transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising: depending on where you reside, you may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising via the Shopify Privacy Portal or by emailing us at support@kizera.com.
If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal enabled, we will, depending on where you are, automatically treat this as a request to opt out for that device and browser. If we can associate the device with a Shopify account, we apply the opt-out to the account as well. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. Other than the GPC, we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@kizera.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf; we will require proof of authorization and may need to verify your identity directly. We will respond in a timely manner as required under applicable law.
10. Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us at support@kizera.com. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country you live in. If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK contracts, unless the transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page, update the "Last Updated" date, and provide notice as required by applicable law.
